APOSTASY IN THE SDA EDUCATIONAL FIELD

Education is extremely important in training our children and young adults in the various areas of life. If their education is faulty, then their whole life is bent in the wrong direction. And there in an intense unceasing sleepless battle going on for the control of our young people’s minds. Either they will yield their minds to Jesus and allow Him to control, thus reflecting His righteous character in their lives, or they will yield their minds to Satan for him to control, thus reflecting his unrighteous character. Thus a tremendous war is going on.

Satan is trying to turn the attention of our young people away from God and His Word, to self. All over the world, people are being taught that in order to solve their problems, they must not look to God or to the Bible for help, but must look within and try to discover themselves.

There are, of course, two basic forms and methods of education: one which centers around God, and the other centers around Satan. But which form of education is the SDA church involved in? Are they educating our children and young adults through grade-school, high-school, and college with only God-endorsed methods of teaching, or with the satanic methods adopted by the world?

"The enemy of souls has sought to bring in the supposition that a great reformation was to take place among Seventh-day Adventists, and that this reformation would consist in giving up the doctrines which stand as the pillars of our faith, and engaging in a process of reorganization. Were this reformation to take place, what would be the result?--The principles of truth that God in His wisdom has given to the remnant church would be discarded. Our religion would be changed. The fundamental principles that have sustained the work for the last fifty years would be accounted as error. A new organization would be established. Books of a new order would be written. A system of intellectual philosophy would be introduced." Selected Messages, book 1, p 204-205.

What does "intellectual philosophy" mean? "Intellectual" means the using of the mind, and "philosophy" means to have a certain outlook on life, usually obtained through human reasoning. This human reasoning of philosophy is heavily based upon doubt and skepticism, developed by the Greeks.

"...the basis of the whole theory of Greek education [mastered by Socrates, Plato, and Aristotle], both in science and philosophy, was ‘doubt,’–‘a profound and consistent skepticism.’ Indeed, the principal idea of that philosophy is expressed in the word ‘doubt.’ The history of philosophy is but the history of doubt." The Place of the Bible in Education, by Alonzo T. Jones, p 15.

So to introduce "a system of intellectual philosophy" throughout the SDA church system means the introduction of human reasoning intended to doubt and change the historic beliefs and outlook on life of our SDA people through the use of the mind.

Is this a good thing to be introduced among our SDA people?

"The wisdom of so-called intellectual men cannot be relied upon...Men in their supposed wisdom may plan and devise theories and systems of philosophy, but the Lord calls them vain and foolish." Manuscript Releases, vol 5, p 349.

This "system of intellectual philosophy" is not something that will benefit our SDA people, but it will lead them to rely upon men and their deceitful theories of foolish falsehoods. But what has the Lord already admonished His people?

"As ye have therefore received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk ye in Him: Rooted and built up in Him, and stablished in the faith, as ye have been taught, abounding therein with thanksgiving. Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of man, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ." Colossians 2:6-8.

The Lord is not behind this scheme of the SDA leadership; then who is, and where does this whole system come from?

"Before the last developments of the work of apostasy there will be a confusion of faith. There will not be clear and definite ideas concerning the mystery of God. One truth after another will be corrupted....

"...Satan's power will be more and more manifest. The knowledge that he had through being in connection with God, as a covering cherub, he will now use to subordinate his subjects who fell from their high estate. He will use every power of his exalted intellect to misrepresent God and to instigate rebellion against Jesus Christ, the Commander of heaven. In the synagogue of Satan he brings under his scepter, and into his counsels, those agents whom he can use to promote his worship. It is not a strange matter to find a species of refinement, and a manifestation of intellectual greatness, in the lives and characters of those who are inspired by fallen angels. Satan can impart scientific knowledge, and give men chapters upon philosophy. He is conversant with history, and versed in worldly wisdom." Signs of the Times, May 28, 1894.

Clearly this step in educational apostasy is instigated by Satan to cause doubt upon, confuse, corrupt our historic SDA faith, misrepresent God, further the rebellion against Jesus Christ, and promote Luciferic worship among our SDA people! And this apostasy is continuing to increase throughout the entire SDA educational system.

To cite one example: No administrator or school teacher--from kindergarten to university--can teach today within SDA schools without the proper credentials and diplomas earned from years of scholastic study. Thus only those individuals who have been educated in this "intellectual philosophy," and who no longer hold to the original doctrines of truth, will be accepted as teachers and administrators within SDA schools. This educational system would even shut Jesus out from teaching because He--the greatest educator the world has ever seen--would not have the proper worldly credentials! And the SDA church admits this to our people!

"Sad to say, were Christ on earth today, He could not qualify as a Bible teacher, because He would lack academic recognition. It would be said of Him, as of old: ‘How knoweth this Man letters, having never learned?’" Review and Herald, January 25, 1940.

Thus, the entire SDA educational system is operating upon a foundation which shuts Christ out of the minds of the students. That is why the study of Babylonian writers who uphold the same false theories of intellectual philosophy is replacing and substituting the study of the Bible. And as of old, God passes by those educated individuals who learn such corrupted doctrines, and instead chooses to use "unlearned fishermen" to spread His true gospel.

Many who have their eyes open have seen some of this intellectual philosophy being taught to our SDA people. False theories, such as: that Christ had the nature of Adam before the fall; that Christ's work of atonement was already completed at the cross; that no one can overcome sin and become perfect; that no one can keep God's law; that all you need is faith alone or grace alone for salvation; that Christ kept the law for us, so we do not have to; that we are born sinners, and hence Christ must save us in our sins; etc.

But remember, this system of human reasoning that produces doubt, corrupts, confuses the original SDA doctrines of truth, and changes the beliefs and outlook of life, would be introduced through the use of the mind. And what better way to bring about this doctrinal change in the minds of our SDA people than through the satanic science of mind-control.

Some SDA's may strongly object to even the thought that their SDA church leadership would be involved in using any type of spiritualistic mind-control or hypnotism upon our people, even if the church did give up God's truth. But is there any evidence that the SDA church leadership are indeed involved in using hypnotism and mind-control techniques to alter the thinking of our SDA people, and lead them away from believing God's established truths?

Now what exactly is Hypnotism? Modern Hypnosis was basically derived around the middle of the 1800's from Mesmerism. And Mesmerism was developed in the 1770's by Franz (or Frederic) Anton Mesmer (see Harper's Encyclopedia of Mystical and Paranormal Experience, p 275, 366). Now who was Mesmer? Franz Mesmer was a member of Masonry, and also a member of the Order of the Illuminati! (See Occult Theocracy, by Lady Queenborough, p 233, 355). And it was Mesmer's work on the human mind that led to what we know as Hypnotism today.

But what really is Hypnosis designed to do for our mind and body? James Braid, who was the man who first introduced the word "hypnosis," plainly wrote that hypnosis is really a "systematic mode practiced for dethroning these noble attributes (reason and will), and reducing rational man to a state of abject and helpless imbecility."(Hypnosis, by James Braid, p 226).

What is the philosophy behind hypnosis?

"God lies within us....It is necessary, therefore, for us to know how to make contact with our subconscious minds in order to contact the God which is within us....[and without question to accept] the good suggestions which come from the Godlike portion of the subconscious..." Religious Aspects of Hypnotism, p 64, by James Braid.

One of the more modern forms of hypnotism is Neuro-Linguistic Programming or NLP. "Neuro" means nerve, "Linguistic" means verbal speech, and "Programming" means coded instruction. It is one of the most dangerous forms of hypnotism. The minds of individuals can be manipulated or hypnotized, without them even being aware of it, by the combinations of words used in talking with them--both individually, or in groups.

NLP hypnosis is being utilized in church-member outreach seminars called by various names, such as "Calling and Caring" or "Caring and Sharing." These hypnosis religious seminar outreach programs were developed by Dr. John S. Savage, who is a United Methodist minister, a certified Psychotherapist, and president of L.E.A.D. Consultants--his NLP hypnosis organization. These seminars are divided into two main programs called Lab 1, and Lab 2. Lab 1 teaches people how to use NLP hypnosis techniques on others, and Lab 2 teaches Lab 1 graduates how to teach and train others in NLP hypnosis.

These NLP hypnosis seminars are enthusiastically sponsored by these churches: Baptist, Methodist, Adventist, Presbyterian, Latter Day Saints (Mormon), Lutheran, Church of Christ, Catholic, as well as many other churches. Their purpose is seeking greater control of their congregations, and bringing inactive members back into church fellowship (see L.E.A.D. Consultants, Inc., Training Schedule for 1988-89 and 1989-91).

The SDA church has indeed become involved in this satanic and spiritualistic hypnosis training program of NLP. The evidence to substantiate the above statement can be found in the following church papers: Visitor, June 15, 1985, p 6; Adventist Review, July 2, 1987, p 23; May 4, 1989, p 21; October 5, 1989, p 5.

The SDA church is most enthusiastic in pushing the training of its ministers and leaders in NLP hypnosis!

In fact, the North American Division of the General Conference recommended:

"...that every pastor in the North American Division complete the 40-hour Lab School in Parish Visitation Skills (Lab 1), and that selected pastors complete the additional 50-hour Instructor's Training (Lab 2)." North American Division of Seventh-day Adventist Church, Strategy Plans for Evangelism, #307-88n, Homecoming Emphasis During Year of Evangelism (1989), p 2, Section 3d.

Then the SDA church leadership stated:

"About 200 Adventists have been certified as trainers and are available at the present time to help staff this activity." Ibid, p 2, Section 3d.

During the year of 1989, the Florida Conference of SDA's held a Lab 2 training course for all of its leaders and ministers from March 19-24 (see L.E.A.D. Consultant, Inc., Training Schedule for 1988-89). Also the Potomac Conference of SDA's, where the General Conference headquarters is located, held a Lab 2 training course for all of its leaders and ministers from August 27-September 1 (see ibid.), and again from May 5-10, 1991 (see Ibid., Training Schedule for 1989-91).

Since the year 1989, at least 200 Adventists have been training other SDA's--especially ministers, leaders, and teachers--in spiritualistic techniques of hypnosis. What purpose can this serve other than keeping our people locked into an apostate church, or attempting to bring back those who have left, or deviously manipulating them to account as error the truth they once accepted? And this is viewed as being for the glory of God and the SDA church! (See Adventist Review, February 20, 1992, p 4). Since when do God's professed people run to the devil for help, and then use his tactics for the glory of God? This could only occur if these "professed people" have already rejected God and His truth, and have become Satan's synagogue!

"Some professed Adventists who had rejected present truth, while preaching praying or in private conversation used mesmerism [hypnotism] to gain adherents...And even those that used it [hypnotism], were so far in the darkness and deception of the devil, that they thought it was the power of God, given them to exercise. They had made God altogether such an one as themselves; and had valued His power as a thing of naught." Review and Herald, vol 1, p 9.

How many SDA ministers and leaders have been led into "the darkness and deception of the devil" and been trained to hypnotize our unsuspecting SDA people since 1989?

"Many--probably hundreds--and some laypeople [have taken NLP]." Adventist Review, February 20, 1992, p 4.

The true figure today is not "hundreds" but "thousands"! Hence, at any SDA church you can expect to have hypnosis coming from the pulpit, or from the classroom as well!

As we found out, the philosophy behind hypnosis is the belief that "God lies within us" and that we need "to know how to make contact with our subconscious minds in order to contact the God which is within us" and to accept without question "the good suggestions which come from the Godlike portion of the subconscious." So the philosophy behind hypnosis is pure spiritualism, and in learning and using these techniques you become directly involved in spiritualism and are under the devil's power! Thus the SDA General Conference has accepted and allowed spiritualism to enter the SDA church, and they are encouraging SDA ministers, leaders, and laymembers to join them!

But not only is NLP Hypnosis being taught to the SDA ministers and leaders, but it is also being taught to the students in SDA schools!

At Loma Linda University, Loma Linda, California, a continuing education course called "Balancing Behavioral and Technical Dentistry" was taught at the beginning of the 1990 school year. The 66 page syllabus was written by Carl Jepsen, and it states this in the forward:

"[This course is] an interactive experience in the most effective way to discover and explore NLP." Chairside Manner Syllabus, "Balancing Behavioral and Technical Dentistry" by Carl H. Jepsen, D.D.S., Ph.D., September 9, 1990.

But this is not the end of it. In many SDA college campuses around the country, there is a course taught from a book called Becoming a Master Student. This book teaches students how to hypnotize, how to do self-hypnosis, how to practice transcendental meditation, and other spiritualistic New Age beliefs and practices! (See Becoming A Master Student (fifth edition), pp 73, 78, 134, 195, 248-249, by David Ellis).

NLP Hypnosis is used not only within the Adventist church and school systems. It is also within a number of other religious school systems--such as Princeton Theological Seminary of New Jersey; Toronto School of Theology of Ontario, Canada; Episcopal Theological Seminary of Kentucky; and Methodist Theological Seminary of Ohio (see the Training Schedule for L.E.A.D. Inc., for 1988-89 & 1989-91). They also find it useful in controlling and manipulating their congregations and young people into accepting the same false Luciferic doctrines!

Another Satanic method being embraced by, and adopted into, the SDA school system is in the area of Guided Imagery.

Guided Imagery is a technique where one or more people relax, and allow another person to talk or guide them on an imaginary mental journey where they might just meet other beings. But what are all these mental activities, like Guided Imagery, designed to do for those involved in them?

"The ancients of all cultures filled their folkloric epics with tales of visions, dreams, intuitive insights, and internal dialogues with higher beings whom they saw as the sources of ultimate wisdom and knowledge. By accepting as true the narratives of spiritual seekers from all cultures, we now have evidence of various levels of consciousness possible to human beings....

"Human potential is inexhaustible and is realized through new modes of exploration (ie. meditation, guided imagery, dream work, yoga, body movement, sensory awareness, energy transfer (healing), reincarnation therapy, and esoteric studies)." Journal of Humanistic Psychology, vol 21, #4, Fall, 1981, p 58, 61.

Is this anything Christians should be involved in? Is this anything that church leaders should allow to be taught within their church system? Absolutely not! But it is, and on a grand scale. If it is not, then why was the 4th grade teacher of the Seventh-day Adventist Elementary School having her entire class going through a Guided Imagery activity entitled "On Cloud 9"? (See Macmilian Instant Activities Program, p 21, "On Cloud Nine: You and Your Body Relaxation Activity" taught to the fourth grade class at the Seventh-day Adventist Elementary School in Stockton, California in January, 1988).

These satanic practices are not just within the Adventist system, it is spreading everywhere. But who is this "higher being" that is supposed to bring us light when we mentally look within ourselves?

One of the New Age leaders, David Spangler, writes:

"When man entered upon the pathway of self, he entered into a great creative adventure...of learning the meaning of divinity by accepting to himself the responsibility of a microcosmic world unto whom he is the god....

"The being that helps man to reach this point is Lucifer...the angel of man's evolution...the spirit of light in the microcosmic world....

"Lucifer prepares man for the experience of Christhood...[he is] the great initiator." Reflections of the Christ, by David Spangler p 36-37, 44-45.

How popular is this type of communication with "higher beings" or demons today?

"The number of persons using or claiming clairvoyance and contacts with inner guides, spacepeople, or discarnate healers is steadily increasing....we are living in a period of transition between the old Western civilization...and a new type of culture presumably of a global nature...making it possible for all men to experience their essential unity." Occult Preparations for a New Age, by Dane Rudhyar, p 9-11.

Another satanic method that is closely related to Guided Imagery, is called Visualization. This satanic philosophy teaches that for whatever goal you desire, just visualize it within your mind that you have it, and if you visualize it hard enough and often enough, it will become reality. Hence people believe that mankind has great power within their own mind, and now the rush is on to discover how to tap into it and use it. And this is exactly the snare that Lucifer wants them to be trapped in.

Where did all this visualizing science originate from?

"According to Hermetic tradition, the Egyptian god Thoth, known to the Greeks as Hermes Trismegistus (the Thrice-Powerful), was the originator of alchemy. He taught that the physical world could be transformed through mental imagery." The Seduction of Christianity, by Dave Hunt, p 140.

Napoleon Hill is a well known spiritualist and New Age writer. He derived most of his beliefs from disembodied spirit guides (see Grow Rich! With Peace of Mind, p 158-160). He states:

"The Magic Power of Belief....Anything the human mind can believe, the human mind can achieve." Grow Rich! With Peace of Mind, p 176, by Napoleon Hill.

This is the same beliefs and teachings of many of the Eastern religions, such as Yoga, Hinduism, etc. But who else has adopted this "light" on Visualization directly from the "Light-Bearer" himself--Lucifer?

Visualization is also utilized in Witchcraft (Buckland's Complete Book of Witchcraft, by Raymond Buckland, p 156-157), and in the practice of Voodoo (see The Everyday Practice of Voodoo, by Boko Gede; quoted in Buckland's Complete Book, p 156).

But who else, besides the Witches, Voodooists, and all the other spiritualistic religions and agents of the devil, are involved in teaching this Luciferic Babylonish doctrine of Visualization?

Has the SDA church adopted this satanic doctrine of Visualization into their educational programs? Yes! And you can find this satanic science being hidden in seemingly innocent church programs, such as on how to stop smoking!

The Breathe-Free Plan to Stop Smoking is "The official updated Five-Day Plan from the General Conference." (See Breathe-Free Plan, Introduction page). Why did the General Conference need to update the Five-Day Plan, and what changes did they make in it? The General Conference states that:

"Most smokers in North America know that smoking is hazardous, but they don't know how to stop. So the new plan emphasizes lifestyle-modification strategies such as values clarification, modeling, visualization, affirmation, positive thinking, and rewards. Participants learn how to stop smoking and become winners by using secrets of Olympic champions.... .

"The Breathe-Free Plan to Stop Smoking features universal spiritual truths which motivate smokers to overcome self-destructive behavior." Breathe-Free Plan, Introduction page.

"YOU CAN BE THE ARCHITECT OF YOUR OWN SELF-IMAGE. You can design your mental blueprint of the new you. Then if you hold that picture in your mind, your outward behavior will come into line....Imagine every detail of how you will act as a nonsmoker....

"Visualize yourself in detail as the person you intend to be; then choose to make that vision become reality....‘We create our lives with our thoughts’...By desiring, visualizing, and believing yourself to be a nonsmoker, you can become one." Breathe-Free Plan, Session 2, p 27-28, 32.

Not just smokers are being indoctrinated into spiritualism by the SDA church, but so are the SDA youth being indoctrinated!

"Visualize yourself as the person you want to be." Insight, March 5, 1994, p 6.

From whom did the SDA church receive these "universal spiritual truths" of Visualization and Guided Imagery? Directly from agents of Lucifer--the god of light and wisdom to all involved in spiritualism and initiated into the ancient Mysteries of Babylon.

You can see that these beliefs and teachings take our eyes off of the God of Heaven, and turns them upon self. Thus Jesus Christ as our Saviour, is effectively stolen from us, and self becomes our savior instead! With this in mind, you can easily discern any spiritualistic doctrine by its message directing our attention away from glorifying God to glorifying self.

But Visualization is not just some benign activity. It is one of the greatest avenues for Satan to directly work on, or through, or for the person using it. Especially did the Magicians, Sorcerers, Wizards, Witch Doctors, etc.--who are now called Shamans--use Visualization in their work.

"A Shaman is a man or woman who enters an altered state of consciousness--at will--to contact and utilize an ordinarily hidden reality in order to acquire knowledge, power, and to help other persons....

"It is in the SSC (Shamanic State of Consciousness) that one ‘sees’ shamanically. This may be called ‘visualizing,’ ‘imaging,’ or as expressed by Australian aborigines, using ‘the strong eye.’...As the distinguished Australian anthropologist A.P. Elkin observes, the vision of an aborigine shaman ‘is no mere hallucination. It is a mental formation visualized and externalized, which may even exist for a time independent of its creator.’" The Way of the Shaman, by Michael Harner, p 20, 50.

Hence people have come to believe that one can actually create reality by just visualizing it hard enough. And Satan is only too pleased to assist them in this with his wonder-working power. But the different denominations are not the only ones incorporating Visualization imagery in their spiritual exercises and beliefs.

Christian motivationalist Zig Zigler writes:

"...your subconscious mind...will do exactly as commanded regardless of whether the instruction is positive or negative...

"For years, man has dreamed of unlocking the enormous potential of his subconscious mind...I'll give you some steps that will enable you to unlock much of this enormous power within you....

"The deliberate use of the subconscious mind is an exciting possibility for you, and the benefits are almost unlimited." See You At The Top: The "How To" Book, by Zig Ziglar, p 294-300.

Now if we can really create reality by the power of our own mind, then we can actually control our own destiny. Napoleon Hill writes:

"Know your own mind--live your own life. You can make your life what you want it to be....Self-confident faith in yourself is an indispensable ingredient for good living....

"A healthy ego makes you more receptive to the influences which guide you from a region beyond the power of our five senses to know....I can find faith which vastly enlarges my powers...always I know I am the master of my fate, I am the Captain of my soul." Peace of Mind, p 215-220.

If we really are the "master" of our own fate and the "Captain" of our own souls, then what need have we of the God of heaven, or of His Son Jesus Christ, because would we not ourselves be a god? This is exactly the main thrust of the Luciferic doctrine of Illuminism, and this has been around for centuries! The people of France were called "gods," and France was called the "Nation of gods!" The Maitreya states:

"Man is an emerging God....My Plan and My duty is to reveal to you a new way, a way forward which will permit the divine in man to shine forth....And show that for man exists a future bathed in Light....

"May this...bring you to the realization of your part in the Great Plan." The Reappearance of the Christ and the Masters of Wisdom, by Benjamin Creme, p 246, Maitreya Message #81, September 12, 1979.

Who is the Maitreya? Maitreya is said to be: "The Master of all the Masters and the Teacher alike of angels and of men."(From Bethlehem to Calvary, by Alice Bailey, p 25). As servant and agent of another much greater Lord, who is identified as "Sanat," Maitreya "comes as a World Teacher to inaugurate the Age of Aquarius." Maitreya is said to have only one motive: "It is to serve The Plan."(Millennium: Peace, Promises, and the Day They Take Our Money Away, by Texe Marrs, p 230).

But to serve The Plan of whom?

"...the plan of Sanat Kumara--His Life Plan." The Rays and the Initiations, by Alice Bailey, p 130.

Now who is this Sanat? Sanat is called "God," and is referred to as "Venus." Venus and Lucifer are also referred to as being the same in occultic writings (The Hidden Dangers Of The Rainbow: The New Age Movement and our Coming Age of Barbarism, by Constance Cumbey, p 95-96, 137-138). So you can see that "Sanat" is just the word for "Satan" that has been somewhat scrambled. In fact, Kabbalist's teach that:

"Lucifer, the Bringer of Light...who is also Satan..." Kabbalah: Tradition of Hidden Knowledge, by S'ev ben Shimon Halevi, p 75.

What exactly is The Plan of Satan or Lucifer? There are many different aspects and workings to Satan's Plan. But the main "eternal purpose of the Lord of the World" is that "Sanat Kumara came...[to] this planet in order to carry forward His fixed designs" that "all lives in all kingdoms" are to be the "vehicle" for the expression of Sanat himself! (The Rays, p 242).

This is to be accomplished through "initiation" in which a "special state of consciousness" is achieved, enabling you "to grasp more and comprehend more of His divine purpose" (see Ibid., p 242). And who is the one who "initiates" people into this "special state of consciousness?"

"Through Sanat...flows the unknown energy...It is illumination...Sanat Kumara Who initiates constantly that which is new and that which will better serve His will." The Rays, p 130-131, 660.

New Age leader David Spangler, plainly writes:

"[Lucifer is] the great initiator....Lucifer works within each of us to bring us...to that point which I term the Luciferic Initiation...it is an initiation into the New Age." Reflections, p 44-45.

Consequently Satan's or Lucifer's main educational Plan is to have all of humanity, especially SDAs, initiated into the ancient Mysteries of Babylon--or "illuminated"--so that they will become changed into the express image of himself. In other words, to be Satan-like. Thus we would become his representatives and witnesses in the earth, declaring that Lucifer is God.

At the same time the main educational plan of the God of heaven, as expressed in the Scriptures, is for our salvation (see Luke 1:68-79; 2 Corinthians 6:2; 2 Thessalonians 2:13). That humanity will behold, through the Word of God, His glory or character and will become "changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord." 2 Corinthians 3:18. And thus through the faith and precious gift of the Righteousness of Christ, we might be "filled with the fruits of righteousness" and become changed into the express image of God (see Philippians 1:11). In other words, to be Christ-like. Thus we would become the representatives and witnesses of God in this dark wicked world, declaring that He is God, and not Lucifer (see Isaiah 43:11-12).

Thus the will of God is for our "sanctification" unto "righteousness...and redemption" through "the Spirit unto obedience" of God's commands, and thus inheriting eternal life (see 1 Thessalonians 4:3; 1 Corinthians 1:30; 1 Peter 1:2-5; 1 John 5:11-12; Jude 21). In contrast the will of Satan is for us to hold God's "truth in unrighteousness," and to be "filled with" the fruits of "all unrighteousness" becoming the children of darkness and disobedience to God's commands, and thus reaping eternal death and destruction (see Romans 1:18, 29; Ephesians 2:2; 2 Thessalonians 1:7-9, 2:8-12).

And where does this all start? Especially through the education of our young people!

"Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it." Proverbs 22:6.

But exactly where will most of these Luciferic "initiations" take place?

"Benjamin Creme has declared that ‘revitalized’ Christian churches as well as Masonic lodges will be used for purposes of giving these ‘mass planetary initiations.’" Rainbow, by Cumbey, p 140.

Are SDA churches immune from being "revitalized" places where these Luciferic initiations can take place?

Dr. William Loveless, who is a well known pastor currently serving at the University SDA church in Loma Linda, California, guided a group of his fellow SDA ministers into imagery, visualization, and meditation. After he did this, he then taught them how to use the same spiritualistic techniques on their entire SDA congregations during the church service!

Loveless stated:

"I would suggest you take your glasses off...We're going to see some things, but we're not going to see them with our glasses. I like to sit rather than lie when I meditate. Now pews are awful, but they're the best we have....We need to teach our people [ministers and leaders] how to do what I am doing with you now in church. If I can do it in the University church with 3500 people sitting there jammed together elbow-to-elbow, you can do it in your church regularly....We need to teach them [ministers] how to work with them [laity], and the only time we have them at our command [in church] in a sense we're going to hypnotize them..." Tape of Dr. William Loveless giving a "Pastor's Workshop" to Seventh-day Adventist ministers, on August 14, 1989.

Loveless then teaches the SDA ministers how to breathe, the correct posture to use, and how to relax their muscles beginning from the head to the feet. He then tells them to "visualize or image or picture" Jesus coming and talking with them, and eating lunch before leaving them. Loveless then adds about this visualized picture that "it's a good children's story for church, this will lead them into meditation." He continues:

"What I've done is try to model for you what you can do with your church, and what you need to do with your church on a regular basis." Tape, August 14, 1989.

He then closes the ministerial workshop by stating that:

"...this is what the great Mystics of the Ages have told us about." Tape, August 14, 1989.

But Loveless is not the only one believing and teaching occultic spiritualism to SDA's. The spiritualistic concept of God being both male and female is also appearing in SDA literature!

Gina Foster is the Managing Editor of Dialogue, which is the paper of the University Church of Seventh-day Adventist. In 1991 she wrote an article entitled "Responding to God's Suffering." In this article we find this blasphemous statement:

"God no longer plays parent to our childish irresponsibility. Instead, God treats us as friends, allowing us to make our own mistakes. She suffers with us and celebrates with us. We cry and laugh together." Dialogue, vol 2, #11, November, 1991, p 7.

Now some SDA's will no doubt respond to this as only being a slip of the pen, or a mistake at the printers. In fact, several letters were written asking why the Editor stated that God was a "She." One of these letters was printed in the Dialogue, and the Editor responded to it by stating:

"The use of the pronoun "She" was neither a typographical error nor due to a lack of theological training." Dialogue, vol 3, #1, January, 1992, p 7.

Yet it is not just our SDA people in California alone who are being indoctrinated in this New Age spiritualism, but all SDA's!

"...God removed His feminine characteristics...and made woman. United [man and woman], they reflected the likeness and glory of God." Message Magazine, March-April, 1994, p 17.

This spiritualistic New Age teaching of the nature of God being both male and female--or dualism--is not just being centered upon SDA adults, but is also aimed at our children and youth.

"Our Mother, on earth and in heaven; holy is your Name....We give thanks for having touched this day the female face of God....In Christian spirituality, we address God as our Father....

"The God of history, the God of the Bible, is One who carries us in Her arms after carrying us in Her womb...God-with-us is the Word-made-flesh, steadfast love, mother-love, love incarnate, the love one has for a child in the womb, in whom we live and move and have our being, the Holy and wholly Other....

"Blessed be God, our Mother, Blessed be Her name forever!" Liturgy of God Our Mother, p 2-4, passed out, read, and cited throughout the Loma Linda University SDA church pre-school class of 1992.

"I picture God as an old white man: muscular, serious, awesome, and reigning on a big white throne. But what if She stretches out on the stars and jokes with the angels, with skin as rich as Mississippi mud, and hair flowing down Her back..." Insight Magazine, January 15, 1994, p 11.

What makes the above so amazing is that this was written by an SDA student, and also that it won first prize in the 1993 student poetry category at Southern College of SDA's in Collegedale, Tennessee! This plainly and bluntly shows to all who will see, that the satanic methods of educating our young people have been fully embraced by, and have been very successful at, SDA educational institutions!

But these spiritualistic doctrines of devils are not just being taught to our SDA people from educational institutions, and from church papers, but also during the church worship service!

"It's the Father-God whose doing the hugging, and the Mother-God whose the genius doing the creating....our stereo-types [of God] need some challenge...God as Mother and Father....

"We can rejoice and sing [the song], ‘Strong Mother God.’...

"In the nature of God...both Father and Mother...God as Mother...a Mother-God." Taped sermon by SDA minister Louis Venden, at the Angwin SDA church in California, March 19, 1994.

Clearly the SDA church has chosen the spiritualistic falacies of the devil and has given up God’s truth! But this is not the full extent of Adventist involvement in the New Age spiritualism of Lucifer: we have not even touched on the occultic and spiritualistic symbolism which is common throughout SDA church papers! But we should not be surprised that the SDA church is believing, teaching, and indoctrinating our people with spiritualistic doctrines from Lucifer, because we have already been warned! (see Great Controversy, p 560-561; Special Testimonies, Series B#7, p 3-6; Manuscript Releases, vol 19, p 309-312; Review and Herald, July 16, 1908).

Given that hypnosis--or the power of one's mind and will being used as a controlling force over another--is permeating all SDA churches and institutions, in addition to spiritualistic doctrines of devils being taught to our unsuspecting people, what does God want His people to do? Does He want them to stay in their SDA churches and educational institutions and run the risk of being hypnotized? Or is it His will that His true people separate themselves from this grave danger? What will happen to our SDA people if they choose to continue attending their SDA church or SDA school system knowing the truth about hypnosis and spiritualistic doctrines coming at them from the pulpit and classroom? What is God's will in this matter?

"I was shown the necessity of those who believe that we are having the last message of mercy, being separate from those who are daily imbibing new errors. I saw that neither young nor old should attend their meetings; for it is wrong to thus encourage them while they teach error that is a deadly poison to the soul and teach for doctrines the commandments of men. The influence of such gatherings is not good. If God has delivered us from such darkness and error, we should stand fast in the liberty wherewith He has set us free and rejoice in the truth. God is displeased with us when we go to listen to error, without being obliged to go; for unless He sends us to those meetings where error is forced home to the people by the power of the will, He will not keep us. The angels cease their watchful care over us, and we are left to the buffetings of the enemy, to be darkened and weakened by him and the power of his evil angels; and the light around us becomes contaminated with the darkness." Early Writings, p 124-125.

As we can clearly see, the SDA leadership are indeed using "intellectual philosophy" upon our unwary people, and they are being deceived and led to also rebel against God (see Patriarchs and Prophets, p 89). God's holy truth has been laid aside, our true historic SDA pillars and principles have been accounted as error so that the SDA church may teach in common with other churches. And hypnotism is being used to force home error "by the power of the will" to keep our SDA people from leaving this apostate church, as well as to cement these new theology and spiritualistic doctrines--which the church calls "Biblical Adventism"--in their minds.

In fact, the SDA church admits as much!

"Biblical Adventism anchors the faith of its members so securely...that they do not abandon ship." Messenger, October, 1994, p 2.

So the SDA church is not going to return back to the historical Biblical truths which God gave to our people, and upon which the SDA church was founded upon. The church leadership will continue on leading our people farther and farther away from historical Adventism, teaching the satanic and spiritualistic doctrines of new theology, and using hypnotism to cement these spurious doctrines in their minds. Hence most of our people would never think of abandoning the Adventist ship, no matter how corrupt she is. But what does God say?

"I feel very sad over the conditions of things in Battle Creek...but we must stand as firm as a rock for the truth. We are not to be at the beck and call of those who try to draw us away from the work that God has given us. Satan has come down with great power, to work through men who, though they have been given a knowledge of the truth, have not kept the faith once delivered to the saints, and have become active agencies in impeding the progress of God's cause....

"The time has come when even in the church and in our institutions, some will depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits and doctrines of devils. But God will keep that which is committed to Him. Let us draw near to Him, that He may draw near to us. Let us bear a plain, clear testimony right to the point, that hypnotism is being used by those who have departed from the faith, and that we are not to link up with them. Through those who have departed from the faith, the power of the enemy will be exercised to lead others astray....

"We are to strive earnestly for union, on Bible lines. But we would better stand apart from those who will not heed the instruction of the Word of God..." Letter 237, July 14, 1904, Manuscript Releases, vol 19, p 309-312.

"Some who have been leaders in the work of God are seeking to make of none effect the work that God has placed in the world to educate His people, and to prepare them to stand the test of the miracle-working powers that would make void the precious facts of faith that have for the last sixty years been given under the power of the Holy Spirit....

"In the representations the Lord has given me, I have seen those who follow their own desires, misrepresenting the truth, oppressing their brethren, and placing difficulties before them. Characters are now being developed, and men are taking sides, some on the side of the Lord Jesus Christ, some on the side of Satan and his angels. The Lord calls for all who will be true and obedient to His law to come out of and away from all connection with those who have placed themselves on the side of the enemy." Letter 256, August 1, 1906, Last Day Events from the Letters and Manuscripts of E.G. White, p 94 (see also This Day With God, p 222).

But what does all the facts shown signify regarding the SDA church? What happened when king Saul connected himself with spiritualism?

"Saul knew that in this last act, of consulting the witch of Endor, he cut the last shred which held him to God. He knew that if he had not before willfully separated himself from God, this act sealed that separation, and made it final. He had made an agreement with death, and a covenant with hell. The cup of his iniquity was full." Spirit of Prophecy, vol 1, p 377.

And now, the same has sadly occurred with the SDA church!

"And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues. For her sins have reached unto heaven, and God hath remembered her iniquities." Revelation 18:4-5.
